Class Blog

Jan 2019 - It is lovely to see the children back full of excitement and so eager to learn. Hope you all had a wonderful Chrstmas break - how long ago that seems! The focus for this half term is Winter Explorers where we plan on doing lots of exciting things linked to the Weather - hopefully we may see some snow to help make our learning more real - fingers crossed! To help your child with their learning this term it would be great if you could go on a Winter walk and send in some pictures on our Class Dojo. The pictures you send in really help with your child's language and communcaiton and I would like to thank you all for regularly doing this. It really is invaluable.

On Jan 22nd I will be hosting a Stay and Read workshop open to all parents. I will discussing ways to read successfully with your child, you can then watch your child's class teacher model a reading activity with the children and you will then be given the opportunuity to read with your child in a comforatble environment.

I really hope it will be an enjoyable, informative and supportive morning and that as many as you are able to make it as possible

Dec 2018 - Here we are in December already- how did that happen? On the 5th December we will be having our next Stay and Play session and we are excited to see some familiar faces return, and to hopefully meet some new ones too. We have had some exciting news recently and we have been given the go-ahead  to open a nursery provision from September 2019. More information to follow soon.

Christmas production rehearsals have started this week and it is looking great already. We have a very busy month ahead of us and you will receive a letter soon with all of the things taking place this month including Signed Singing at a range of locations, our theatre visit to watch Peter Pan, our Frosty Fair and, of course, our school production.

We will continue to keep you up to date with all of our activities with updates and photographs through Class Dojo.

Finally, just a reminder to fill in the WOW moment cards which have been sent home to you. If they do something at home which you are proud of, or do something new for the first time, please let us know so we too can celebrate this too.
